BELLE DE BOSKOOP APPLE
Belle de Boskoop is a fantastic dual purpose apple, fit for both dessert and culinary purposes; it is very suitable with savoury salads or as an after dinner treat. Apple Belle de Boskoop is a beautiful apple with rich, dark green skin, yellow and red flushes over the apple and extensive russeting. Belle de Boskoop is quite sharp if eaten straight from the tree, its flesh is dense with a firm, crisp, texture. Apple Belle de Boskoop was originally introduced in the Netherlands during the 1850’s and is still popular on the Continent.
Our Apple Belle de Boskoop bare rooted trees are lifted at the start of the bare root season in November, when the apple trees become dormant, and made available through to March the following year. This period is the ideal time for economical planting. You will however have to wait a year to pick your crop as bare root trees cannot be picked in their first year. For all year round planting why not choose from our selection of container grown apple trees. They do cost more but are older, more established and ready to crop.
Available in economy and premium selection
Economy - rooted into its pot but a further season before moving up a pot size.
Premium - more growth in its pot. More mature than Economy
